Nuclear fuel can be recycled. What are your thoughts on the mercury emissions from the coal plants?

This...and actually coal fired plants release much more radiation (radon) by far than Nukes. Added to that CO2 and heavy metals. Nuclear fuel is stored dry after 10+ years and requires no maintenance to keep it cool.

However I agree that the fuel needs to be recycled. It will never happen thouigh. Nuke power in the U.S. is dying and will continue to die.
