I'm thinking of getting 2 of these, one for the RV with a group 31 battery, and for the battery in my toro ss5000, its a small battery.

I'm thinking it puts out probably about a .5 amps. So is this too small for the Rv battery , and is it going to over charge the small mower battery? The mower battery tag says its 15 ah the cold start is 195cc at 0 f.

This is for winter storage of both batteries, the panel is stated to have a blocking diode to prevent reverse drain at night.

The price seems good.
Thanks for your thoughts.

There's one on the GMC 6.2 pickup, & my F-450 work truck in my sig. Both trucks have 2 batteries each, and the solar chargers keep the batteries topped off & haven't hurt anything in the 3 years I've been using them. Not sure about the bigger one you have listed, you might need a charge controller for that one.

It will keep both batteries topped off. Don't expect the 7 watt panel to recharge a dead battery unless you don't mind waiting a month.

I always recommend a solar charge controller.

Typical charge controllers that can be found on ebay:

The eco-worthy says it consumes .2mw so that takes the output of the 7watt panel from .583 to .383 amps. is that too much loss to make it worth it?
