neighbor lady has a 00/01/02 era lexus 4 door sedan camry sized, alloy rims, 2 valve stems leak around contact with the rim.
tire dealer replaced valve stems (the whole rubber piece) no effect.

can you still put tubes in a tire/rim ?

To answer your question, yes they make tubes. You have to get a tube that's specifically for radial tires. They're not common at all.

Sounds like someone who knows what they're doing needs to work on it.

You don't want to put tubes in a tire. There's multiple reasons why tubes nearly became obsolete decades ago,

I had all 4 tires on the 99 Accord have rim leaks. The tire shop that did the install rushed the job. So they had to remove all 4 tires from the alloy wheels and clean the contact area/bead on each wheel. DTD should do a good job. Probably run around $70.

^^^ this. tubes will be heavier. It's been a long time but I think there is an issue with heat build-up if you run tubes in a tubeless tire. balancing could be a nightmare. Have it fixed properly. It should not be rocket science, and should not be costly.

there'll be air caught between the tube and the tubeless tyre which won't get out as the tubeless is air tight. balancing issues, rubbing issues, blowout risk...
