Air Filter Recommendations Needed

No filter is going to enhance gas mileage on a stock engine, that's a myth.
Any of the major brands of "dry" filters will give good protection.
It's better to not change the filter too frequently. It becomes more efficient as it collects dirt.
An easy to install restriction gauge is a useful tool to get full use out of your air filters.
You can just glance at the gauge when you open the hood to check the oil etc.
No need to open the housing until it's time to change the filter.

I like the oem most of the time although looking at a stealer bought honda and comparing it to the fram looks best.. I just bought a motorcraft for my moms Grand Marquis i changed out the pure one because it always felt restrictive.
