This is the vehicle that had a Purolator filter tear 3 OCI's ago. Since then it had a Wix XP, a Purolator provided Pure One, and then this Wix XP. I tend to run a little over the recommended Honda OCI interval of 7.5K since I run excellent synthetics, in this case PUP 5w/20 (my last jug).
Purolator examined the Pure One filter and told me was overloaded, running in bypass, and I needed to check out my engine. So, I ran another OCI, cut the filter and ran this UOA. I didn't pay for TBN analysis since I'm not going for a really long OCI.

You're interested in solids and contaminants, so you'll be happy to know you're in
good shape on both fronts. No contamination was found and the 0.4% insolubles show
an acceptable amount of oxidized solids in the oil, so the oil filter did a great
job. Wear metals look fantastic next to universal averages, which show typical wear
for this type of Honda engine after about 6,500 miles of oil use. You went longer
and still got less metal, so we don't see any mechanical issues. The viscosity was
fine for a 5W/20 and air filtration is excellent- see silicon. Nice first report!
