Yup, gear reduction starters don't need the amps of the old direct drive ones.

Miatas have had trunk mounted batteries from the get-go.

Sure, the copper wire's inconvenient, but the underhood packaging makes up for it. Except on my wife's HHR, which is still cramped, so it can have that coffin nose.

He was speaking of his engine not cooling down very quickly, not the battery.
But, aren't ALL of the modern/late model Hemi car blocks aluminum alloy??

When did they go to alloy blocks exclusively for the cars?
