Great results. I think you could have achieved the same good iron, copper, Al wear results by using any synthetic SN-GF5 0w-20 oil though. Toyota engines don't generate much wear metals.

So about 6200 miles = 10,000 kms. On the 2012 Camry with 9500 miles on the current oci just added a quart of 5w20 Mobil High Mileage make-up oil to help condition the seals a bit. Then it will get fresh TGMO 0w20. Dad's car with 60k miles. The dipstick was at the halfway mark which means it's a full quart low on this car and not a half quart.

Is this bulk TGMO 0w20 (dealer filled out of a barrel) or single quart TGMO 0w20? The reason I ask is because the add-pack doesn't look like the single quart TGMO I've seen (43ppm of moly -vs- around 100ppm in VOA ... 20ppm of Boron -vs- 0ppm in VOA). A lot of Toyota dealerships will use Mobil Super 0w20 in bulk, and that add-pack looks more like what you have in your UOA.

Either way - excellent results.

It's actually my sister's '13 Venza with the V6, and yes this would be the bulk from the dealer. I just did the change and replaced with Castrol 0W20 because it was on sale.

I will likely stretch this interval out to 12-15k (kms)

What was your previous fill ?

Because it's contaminated this sample with Na, B, and Mg, and diluted the Mo...

Imperial Oil has a specific product in Canada for that purpose - Mobil Super 3000 0w-20 in bulk for dealers. It wouldn't surprise me if that were used.

Agree. I always thought TGMO had more moly.

I'll have to do a UOA on my Venza too. It's a 2011 which specs 5w-30. Have the oil change package for it and I think the dealer is using bulk Valvoline at least from what the service advisor told me when I asked.
