2007 Volvo V70, 4000 mile OCI - guess the oil!

Car is new to me so I sent in a sample to see how the engine is doing. Happy with the results. But what oil is this? Mobil1 5w30 perhaps?

No sodium--not Valvoline or Castrol

No Magnesium--not Mobil 1.

I would guess with 1600 Calcium it is a bulk 5w30. Maybe something like a house brand. Mag1, or Coastal.

Just a guess.

Has a lot of moly for a bulk house brand but not enough to be PYB. Calcium is also way too low for PYB.

I dunno... looks pretty light on most additives except moly.

Probably right about bulk 5w30 oil. I'll call the place where the car was serviced and see if they'll tell me a bit about its history.

Looks like a Chevron/Havoline product but it could also be a Mobil-made bulk as well.

The brandname unknown for me, but remarkable additives are in - a great oil, anyway!
