The paper is a very interesting look at the operational needs of spacecraft mechanical designs and has a large tribological content. It appears to date from 2009-2010 but is undated. I think it is a subpart of the NASA Space Mechanisms Handbook and Reference Guide. Good discussion of lubricants including ion sputtered MoS2, lead and others. Use of PAO's is also discussed. Fairly straightforward and not a difficult read. Sources at the end.

Perfluoropolyethers (PFPE), Multiplyalkylated cyclopentanes (Pennzane), synthetic esters, PAO's, and silicones are used in various space and aerospace equipment, depending on application.
