and they're expanding the Guardian lineup to include struts. Guardian is Gabriel's economy line, usually painted red. Part numbers start with M rather than G.
How good they'll be, I don't know. Most likely better thasn the cheesy Chinese quick struts like Dura International/Prime Choice/Unity/FCS/etc but below or on par with Monroe's Econo-Matic blue quick struts (which use the Monro-Matic struts). The cheap Monroes usually last around 30k, while the Chinese have a hard time surviving 10k.
Most of Gabriel's regular/premium Readymount assemblies are made in Mexico (as are the Ultra struts included in them), so the Guardian versions will be made there, or a cheaper country like China. Monroe makes at least some of their Econo-Matics in the US.
I do have good good experience with Gabriel's premium (Ultra) Readymount.
