This doesn't sound right to me, but the guy that said it is good on this type of thing.

This is for a Baldwin B7042
2/10/75 = 16.22/24.27/29.94 filtration efficiency.

That last spec on efficiency means:
-----50% efficient at a 16.22 micron particle (compared to WIX's 50% at a 6 micron particle filter 51347)
-----90% efficient at a 24.27 micron particle (WIX is 95% at a 20 micron particle)
-----98.7% efficient at a 29.94 micron particle

I have to e-mail Baldwin and see if I get the same numbers that he got.
Thank's Rod

If this is correct then Fram Ultra is a much better filter in term of efficiency. Also, FU can be bought at local Pep Boys for as little as $6.50-7.0 with 30-35% off codes that Pep Boys has once every 2-3 months.

Those beta ratios are correct as you've laid them out.
