Small diesel motor was ready for the first oil change at 50 hours.
I took off the factory filter and could not believe the metal shavings
at the bottom. Crazy- when they say 50 hours for the first service you better
do it maybe at 10-20 hours.

I put on a Fram Ultra Guard oil filter and some Mobil Delvac in the crankcase.

Weird my kioti didn't have much in the filter at 50 hours I kinda thought it was a waste to dump it

I expected the same. But the oil was very black and the filter full of crud. The filter was very low quality as well.
