Hayden makes two economy electric fan switch kits, 3652 which makes use of a set temp switch to flip a relay, and 3653 witch uses just a mechanical switch, that is adjustable.
Would you trust a mechanical switch for a 25 ish amp electric fan?

The mechanical switch only needs enough oomph for the relay contacts. It's the relay you have to size for the fan.

The set temp switch is going to be much easier to live with, the size of the switch doesn't mater much as it just trips the relay and doesn't have to carry much amperage.

Always use a relay for loads like that. So if it JUST comes with a switch, I would shop for a better kit that comes with a relay.
