FRAM TG9999 cartridge filter

This one ran around 5,500 miles. Looks good to me. Tough guard cartridges have impressed me. Going the Ultra route now for two OCIs as price is not much different than the tough guard at Wally World.

The Hyundai suvs use a cartridge on the V6 models.

yes the Hyundai v6 uses a cartridge filter also and Hyundai makes a really good filter.
The fram above looks good also.. I like the cartridge filters because you can see the quality to a degree when new. Its hard for the filter companies to cheap out because they are in full view.

Came off the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe V6 and agreed Hyundai OEM filters are good. FRAMs cost a little less and more convenient for me to get. I think the filtering efficiency is higher on the TG and XG FRAMs over the OEM.

I'd reuse it and still sleep well.

I used their Extra Guard cartridge filters in Toyota and Saturn vehicles in the past for up to 10k OCI's and they always came out looking great.

The advantage of the Tough Guard would be better efficiency more than anything else. An Ultra Synthetic would easily for 2x OCI's
