outside tire wear in the last 5,000 miles

Yea, the inner wear is fine. One of the rear tires is doing this to.....i think its more a tire concern than an alignment concern. I've done my own cars with just a tape and never had drivability concerns or tire wear. Ill drive it to work this week and check the alignment myself just to be certain.

You cannot measure this in your driveway with a tape measure. Toe issues will feather the edges, camber will scrub the edge clean. I remember an Escort which had bad tie rods, you could see the angle of the tires change as torque was applied to them. A pro needs to get it on a rack.

That would be a frame and wheel shop.

Most people don't know any better and go to a tire shop.

You can get a good alignment at a tire store. The job is only as good as the tech doing it.
