We recently got a 6-yr old Ford Everest with the 2.5 liter TDI Duratorq engine. The original coolant is green, and the owner's manual says it is a FL22. What classification of coolant is this, and what other coolants can I use instead?

It's a P-HOAT, and the closest generic is Zerex Asian Formula, although Beck-Arnley also makes some green P-HOAT as well. Or flush it all out & put in Peak Global Lifetime.

I would call Zerex, and see what they recommend because they make a lot of different antifreeze.
