Lubegard ATF Red in DEX III AW4

I have a 97 Jeep Cherokee with the AW4 which specs Dexron III

I recently did a drain and fill with "Pennzoil Dexron III" and I have the Lubegard Red at my house though I am not sure if I should pour it in?

Looking at Lubegards charts(PG19), http://www.lubegard.com/pdfs/2015_LUBEGARD_Conv_Chart_fnl.pdf

There are no circles for the additives under my car but shows DM,D6


Is it safe to put this in my trans?

Don't need to add any additives to it. You could maybe switch to Dex VI if you wanted. Definitely add a cooler.

Lubegard is an awesome additive that can prolong the life of a transmission. Very few additives that I have ever used that do what they claim and this one delivers. You can't go wrong with it. Go with the Red if you already have the correct type in. The black is for adding friction modifiers to convert fluids to other specs which I have not tired the black and don't know how well that one works.

Lubegard red is a good addition to a DexronIII. It is unnecessary with DexronVI though.

It's not like the AW-4 is going to grenade or anything. They routinely outlast the first two engines and "frame".
