Hey folks Between having to swap winter tires on my car and my wifes and all the maintenance stuff
I am thinking of getting a scissor lift, they look to be about 1800$ USD with all said and done.
I was looking at this one: http://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com/auto...CFUKRHwodBKUDmw

I figured It would give me enough clearance for pretty much anything I need minus maybe messing with the exhaust system. I have complete access to the bottom of the engine bay and now tire rotations are a snap.

Thoughts and reccomendations?

Ah thanks, the more I think about the scissor lift the more it makes sense.
Never felt safe with jack stands and it is always a pain in the butt juggling jack stands, jacks and managing jacking points.

There is also a smaller lighter duty version but for my Montero I am good and want both the extra lift capacity and height.
