I have a hard to pull out of gfci outlet in the bathroom. Is there a lube for electrical outlets?

My wife was the one who actually thought that there might be a lube to put on the shaft of the plug to help it insert more smoothly. Me, I have no idea, I just ram it in there.

I saw a lightbulb lube.?? Maybe?

You have no idea how this reads?

I think he knows exactly how that reads and I applaud the double entendre.

At first it's nice to have a nice tight receptacle to hold your plug good and firm but if your plug is just too fat, I'd just replace the receptacle. I'm sure your wife will understand the need for replacement.

Try dielectric grease, otherwise determine what the issue is. I suspect corrosion on the outlet, due to being in a damp place.
