Currently running MC 5W30 syn blend and a MCFL400S filter. Finally got to drive the truck last night after replacing the ball joints and the radiator. I noticed at 70 mph, its turning 2600 rpm, and at 75, almost 3000. Is the oil prone to shearing being its turning so high? I was thinking of running Maxlife 10W30 and a Fram Ultra instead. It also has a check engine light for the EGR system, Ill have to take care of that soon. I plan on doing 5k ocis with this truck.

My 2L 4 cyl turns like that and so do many others on 0w-20 and 5w-20. So the rpm's don't seem to be an issue.
Your oil filter is fine for now.

Stick with the Motorcraft 5W-30 or Valvoline MaxLife 5W-30. Either oil would be fine with a Fram Ultra or Tough Guard or a Motorcraft filter. You don't really need an Ultra for a 5K mi OCI but you could reuse the same filter for a couple oil changes. The Motorcraft filters are dirt cheap ($3-$4) so I'd combine it with either oil.
