IOLM < 5%. 1 quart (1.3, actually) makeup oil added. Fe is down from last change. The spike was probably from miserable winter weather conditions which resulted in abnormal idle times.

This truck and engine are showing amazingly little wear. I am happy with the whole program. I picked up 3 more cases of GT-1 semi syn 5W-20. They should hold me for another two years. I still have 2 Motorcraft 500L filters out of the case I bought when the truck was new.

GT-1 is good stuff. It's working so well in my Saturd I'm not sure I want to change it over to Delo or not.

Great numbers. I was considering Kendall Full Synthetic for my F150 5.0 but it's hard to imagine better numbers at close to 10k miles than these with the blend. I only put about 12k on my truck per year so I guess the only reason to go with the full synthetic would be to go with 1 year OCI's?

Solid consistent wear numbers! Your engine and Kendall oil are a perfect match. Thanks for sharing!

Oil can't tell time. Any oil will go a year if the miles are low enough. A quality sun in this app could easily go 15000 miles based on how the tbn looks with the blend.
Almost every mid tier syn is rated for 10000 miles. Minimum. And we have ample data posted here that proves 15000 miles are capable depending on driving habits.
Top tier like m1 ep and castrol ep are 15000 mile oils minimum if not severe duty.
So if it's a daily driver and not a garage queen time is of no consequence. What matters is miles/hours/fuel burned.

Another great report. That new 5.0 is proving to be one heckuvan engine.
Your getting great service life from the lube. Couldn't be better in my opinion.

Thanks for posting.

I understand these things but I do a lot of low speed driving and idling as well as 4wd almost daily in river bottoms. Right now I use Motorcraft SynBlend and change every spring and fall. I'm comfortable with this interval but I'd rather just change once a year.

Interesting how the amount of MO has come down over time. Do we assume from that Conoco is saving money by lowering the MO content?

I would assume they just moved on to a "better cocktail". The OP's wear #'s are great.
