Who makes motorcraft air filters i like the oem because usually they fit the best.. Also they usually look like quality filters. I am replacing a pureone in my moms Mercury Grand Marquis. I know it used to be purolater but im not sure who makes them now. The frams that i saw look sloppy

Most are Purolator. Some if the diesel ones are from a manufacturer whose name escapes me at the moment.
im sorry i did not see your question... The P1 filtered very well maybe a little to well it was a little restrictive..
I feel the difference at full throttle..
Long story short i have a stretch of road that i do 10 mph then punch it and i saw what the speed was when i hit a certain point when i changed the filter the speed was less with the p1

Purolator manufactures Motorcraft oil filters, so I'd say they manufacture the air filters too.
