Humor; Tsunami Warning issued for Connecticut

National Weather Service issued a tsunami warning for CT today. (mistake)

About 12,000 years ago, CT had a berm installed to prevent any rogue waves from hitting the coast. Regardless I didn't hear anything about it until the news story about the mistake.

Off from work today; I might have been in the danger zone.

Rick mercer had a skit on a cbc show called "talking to Americans"
He would go to various American cities and ask the citizens how they felt about certain topics.
These topics included such zingers as how do you feel about the seal slaughter in Saskatchewan,to which every person asked,including the mayor and city councillors,expressed horror and how it should be outlawed.
I wonder if YouTube has those skits. To watch these people go off when the question posed wasn't even remarkably close to possible is a real eye opener.
