I forget if it was SAE20 or 20wt, but I think they are the same grade...but, does anyone in the USA still produce 10 or 20 weight non-synthetic motor oils?

Or is it down to NOS only?

Why are there no automotive SAE20 oils appearing to be available?

I see plenty of SAE30, SAE40, SAE50, SAE60......but rarely if ever see a SAE10 either.

It seems non-detergent or full synthetic race oil (which claims 5w-20 status) is all there is and there do not seem to be much available.

Even though it doesn't have an SAE rating, Chevron Delo 400 is available in straight 20. If it's as good as their 30, it'll be pretty good oil. Chevron also makes the Texaco Ursa 20W-20, I've never used (nor seen) that oil, personally.

My former boss got a 5 gallon pail of SAE 10 diesel oil for his snowblower. It specs to a 10w20 in real life though.
