Not bad for a six-banger.
I drove a Porsche 914-6 (the 6 cylinder hot rod one) years ago. I had it modified with bigger cylinders, higher compression, high lift cams and so on. It was pretty fast.
One day, a Grand National pulled up along side me. I think he was at the next stoplight before I shifted into second gear. I was amazed at how quickly the distance between us grew. Since my car was a 13 second car, I'm 100% sure that GN was solidly in the 10's, and maybe even faster. Amazing car!

Does that car still have the oem turbo 3800?
My parent's next door neighbor has a black 87 Regal T-type that they bought new. It actually was sitting on the dealer's lot for awhile. It's in great shape and only goes out in nice weather. I thought it was a GN but was told otherwise. The seats are different is one difference.
CT State Police drove SFI Turbos, which I prefer over the GN as far as looks. I liked those body Regals.
Turbo Buick V-6's were always popular in high altitude states like Colorado and folks who lived around Tahoe. Make nearly the same power up there as at sea level
