Moly levels in MOtorcycle Oils

Here's a fly for your ointment:

Not all friction modifiers have Mo in them (in fact the majority don't).
And not all Mo additives are friction modifiers.

So now tell me why we are getting so focussed on knowing which oils do or don't have Mo in them?

Looking at Red Line Motorcycle oil specs, their 500 ppm of moly is 0.05% by weight.

to get to 1% by weight would take 20 X .05 or 20 X 500ppm = about 10,000 ppm.
2% would be 20,000ppm (0.02 X 1,000,000)
5% would be 50,000ppm
