I sang the national anthem at a Padres game!

Along with about 165 other people. It was Lutheran Choir Night at the Padres, and our church was one of the participating churches. I'm not a member of the choir, but I'm in the contemporary band.

It was actually a lot of fun. They take you through a tunnel from the street onto the field. It's quite a view from the field looking up at the stands. We were positioned right behind second base; I've never been out on the field before.
 
Great!. Being part of of a ballgame. Stuff like that is what America is all about

Remember when I was a kid we said the pledge , sang national anthem, and a morning prayer in school every morning.

Sounds like a great experience. I got to bring my Boy Scout Troop onto the field at Miller Park before a game a few years ago (we didn't sing the Anthem, just got to walk through), and that was awesome. Seeing a MLB park from the player's perspective is a really unique opportunity.
