Federated for PF 48 spec's. Can was sturdy, media straight, but the least amount of media I have ever seen.....
BWD/Niehoff-Autopart International-Never heard of these before, wavy pleats. Pretty much a Chinese Purolator.
Service Pro- PF48 spec'd another Chinese Purolator knockoff. Looked ok.

Thanks for the cut and post

They are made by Hastings. I was really surprised at the media. I should have counted the pleats. I have more of them and I dont really want to use them now so maybe Ill cut some more.

The service pro looks good but sloppy with glue. That seems to be a sign of some Chinese made filters I've been seeing. Is that a Chinese made filter?

Used a Federated on my 99 Escort once. Always noisy on start up, and the oil pressure light lit for a few seconds every time I started it.

I imagine it was a faulty (or non-existent) ADV. I've never had that problem before or after with any other filter (whether a "jobber" or a premium brand.)
