Pronto 2500, their version of PF63. Best of the unused filters I cut made in China. Actual media is not much bigger in that of PF48.
Firestone, cheap e-core for PF48 spec'ed vehicles. Weakest can of all I cut open, definitely the cheapest made filter I cut.
FVP for PF48 spec'd vehicles. Sturdy can, typical Purolator construction. Media looked pretty good.
Valvoline VO-88 for PF48 spec'd vehicles. Typical Purolator construction. Wavy pleats.

That Valvoline would have probably torn if put in service. Thanks for cutting these filters for us to see

Glad you're so sure. What's your proof?

The wide pleat spacing, a hallmark of the torn filters.

And we don't need "proof." If these filters had clear cannisters on the shelf, and I wanted something made by Purolator, I'd be digging through the filters to find something without that wide spacing issue. But, since the filter casings are opaque and I don't have X-ray vision....
