Enable edge scrolling on Win 8.1 Pro touchpad?

Hi all, I was just wondering if there is a way to enable edge scrolling on a touchpad with Windows 8.1 Pro? This laptop is a Gateway NE56r41u that originally had come with Windows 8 on it a few years ago. I just installed a clean copy of Windows 8.1 Pro on it, and I don't have edge scrolling anymore. Not a must have feature, but nice. I tried looking for a solution online, and wasn't coming up with anything. I am thinking that I might have to find the divers from the touchpad manufactures website. Maybe someone on here has had the same issue before.

go to gateway support and search for you model code:
http://us.gateway.com/gw/en/US/content/drivers-downloads

download the Synaptics or Elantech touchpad driver for your OS and install. It should enable the edge scroll.
