Has anybody experience with these lights? Seems like a pretty good price on amazon, with some people very happy with the lighting output with a sacrifice of durability. I'm OK with that trade off is they really are effective fog and driving lights.

the reflector area is awfully small to provide well-aimed, usable light over any kind of distance. not that it is by any means a single factor of quality, but in general in my experience any lamp smaller than 4" is useless in controlling light output. You can have a 5" that is good or bad, but anything smaller than 4" I've never seen to be good unless it's a well-designed projector.
