What is Synlube, has anyone used it?

Hello everyone. I was doing a Google search about Amsoil and I found this stuff I had never heard of called Synlube. If people think a 15000-25000 mile oil change is too much, this Synlube claims a 150000 oil change or "oil for life" . Is this a joke? What is the deal with this company?
