Screwed up the most important picture.

All the stuff from under the back seat. They said the Grandkids, now grown, were in it a lot. I believe it.

Only two things wrong with the car. The power antenna does not work and I had to use a "gasp" Toyota PCV gourmet. Talked it over with the Buick, it was OK with it.

On the road, again not great, but you get the idea.

Plugs were Bosch platinum with Duralast wires.
I ended up doing the following
Plugs
Wires
Water Pump
fluids
Hoses
Valve cover gaskets
No need for MAF or EGR

Looks like a great deal for a grand, and you did all the right PM stuff. What's up with the scary guy in the middle of the pics?

LOL. Me all sweaty after 2 hours of cleaning it. I had already done my morning run.

Air out here sucks with all the fires.

I am getting it a battery and hub caps tomorrow. Monday off to the new owner. I kind of hate to see it go.

Very good cars...How Many Miles?
The only thing is i noticed the temp gauge is a little low was it fully warmed up and is the gauge accurate if so maybe replace the thermostat with a 195 delco.

85,000 original. I can't believe this thing. So smooth.

I noticed the temp as well. Didn't want to mess with it. At idle it will get up to temp and the first fan will come on and then shut off when the temp drops to about 190. That is after the water pump and coolant swap.
I just need it to be reliable for this girl.

Guy I got it from says it has been like that the 17 years he had owned it.
He had most of the receipts, all work done at a local shop I know. They are very good.

Glad you picked this up over those other gm bodies with 2.5 piles of dung that were never great then.

This platform body and engine were the best gm had in terms of sedans of the 1980's.

Hopefully the recipient will be as excited as you

Very nice - you're a good friend to have. Hopefully the new owner appreciates your effort and at least keeps the oil topped off.

Pretty cool but that interior... I might have nightmares. It's so red.

Good luck with her!

Nice. Love the hydra-matic pan.

What about tires?? Car might do well with a wash and coating of an all in one type cleaner/sealant and some leather cleaner.

Love the red interior. I wish more cars still offered red, blue, etc inside.

AN STP OIL FILTER? IT'S GOING TO BLOW!!!
Just kidding. While I don't go out of my way to buy them, I've used them with no problems.
Looks like you got a good car for the money. Enjoy.

Interior is EXACTLY the same as the MIL's '90, like driving a La-Z-Boy down the road, had the same red leather power seats, electronic climate control, everything! Hers had a lot more rust & miles (170K) when she donated it.

Did you have to install eight pulley bolts in situ? Saturns only use three.

And why are you deleting the MAF? It's my understanding when the flaky GM MAFs of that era were retrofitted to speed density they never ran the same again.
