How many miles on 84, garak? I inherited a 84 f150 4.9l 4sp from great grandpa few years ago. I haven't been able to do anything with it yet. It a a long idle every 45days give or take.
Mine has lower miles, been stored inside, no weather period in over 30years.

The mileage on the 84 is a loaded question. I'll have to check the odometer next time I'm out there. In any case, it's a lot less miles than it should have, given what it's been through. The engine has been rebuilt twice, thanks to the previous owner thinking oils are lifetime fluids, and him doing the first rebuild without cleaning oil galleries and putting in rings upside down, among other little gems.

Mine spends almost all its time outside, but always has a maintainer on it. The engine has been done, along with suspension, steering, brakes, and transmission. The differential was also serviced just before my guy retired.
