Front passenger inside door handle 'loose'

06 Hyundai Elantra limited, 98,3xx miles.

The front passenger door inside handle is loose, making it harder to open when pulling the handle.

2 questions:

Is something like this covered under warranty?
If not, how would i fix this myself?

Warranty ha at 98k miles and 9 years old!

You DIY however taking apart the door requires some careful work to not damage trim/fasteners in the process.

The 10 year/100,000 mile warranty is powertrain only.

It's a 10 minute job. Remove the screws that hold the door panel on, usually at door handle, bottom of door, or behind a light in the door. Then pop the door panel off and tighten the handle.
