98 Altima - 3 engine codes

Got a new used car...it's got 3 codes...any thoughts? Seems to run fine.

I am not familar enough with these codes to help you however, I was getting codes on a 2008 RAV4 for the Evap Emissions System and a new gas cap appears to have fixed it. Apparently if they leak even a little bit of pressure, they will throw off a code. And I was getting like 4 different codes, the other three probably not even related to any real issue.

P0400 you could try checking the EGR hoses for leaks/ EGR valve for function / clean it.

P0440 Could be like gas cap like previous said, or a leak in the Canister/lines.

P0325 I remember hearing those Nissans had bad knock sensor issues usually fixed with replacement.(Of course make sure It works first)

Bad news is that they are all unrelated aka really three distinct faults.

You need a scan tool with bi-directional control so that you can operate the EGR valve to see if its solenoid is working.
