Mobil-1 TDT&SUV versus Mobil Delvac-1?

Local stores are selling both of the above oils, both full synthetic, both in the 5W/40 weight, and both for the same price - to the penny!.

Is it strictly marketing by Mobil, them assuming the Mobil-1 labeled jugs will be sold in mass market stores and the Delvac-1 labeled jugs will be limited to truck stops stores?

Or is there a difference in the oils?

The oils are very different. Get the Delvac 1.

They used to be the same, back in the CI-4+ days, now the Delvac 1 (assuming it's the LE) is the better oil. Actually the Truck & SUV now isn't even diesel rated, it's a gas engine oil.
