Thought you guys might want to see this. It's a great oil but don't think I would go 15k on it. This trip was an RV pulling a motorcycle trailer across the country and western mtns.

COMMENTSSTEVE: Thanks for the notes about the towing and hard use through the mountains. Your V-10 handledthat well. For such a new engine, we honestly expected more residual wear-in metal since that can take awhile to wash out, but it's not here. Universal averages show typical wear levels for this type of engine afterabout 4,400 miles on the oil and this engine compares nicely. Silicon is probably harmless sealers washingout, but you can always check the air filtration system just to be safe. The TBN is 3.3 showing activeadditive left. Try 7,500 miles next and check back.

I had to do a double take when I saw this was a V10 with low miles. Forgot Ford was still using these in the Class Cs. Really wished Ford would make this engine available in the F250/350 models again.

Everything looks good but it's very hard to read the way you posted it. Next time try to make vertical column like the way the report is originally with some space between actually values and averages

I agree and apologize. I had a hard time posting it. Didn't know that it wasn't available in the 350 anymore. Tow truck operators loved that engine.

Why? The current 6.2l v8 makes more power abs better mpgs.

Maybe if they updated the valvetrain with current stuff.
