Coolant for an '08 Nissan Frontier

Hello, I tried searching under "Nissan", Nissan coolant" and "'08 Nissan" and found no answers.

Today my friend bought a 2008 Nissan Frontier with the 4.0L V-6 engine w/84K.

Does it take the fairly universal pale blue "long life" coolant? Is Zerex Asian OK? Thanks, Kira

I've always used the conventional green in my Nissan.

I would think the Asian would be okay, but your vehicle should also be backspeced to the long life blue. My G37 is, but they still sell the Nissan OEM green concentrate factory fill up here for obvious weather related reasons.

Before I knew any better, I went regular green in my 2003 Navara (Frontier) turbodiesel.

Nothing blew up.

So I'm still using it.
