Amsoil SS 0W/20, 10K OCI, Corolla 2012

This was my first oil report. I had the dealer do the first two oil changes at 10K each. A full 10k first oil change! The next 2 are with Amsoil and their filter. I did use the Amsoil P.i. Performance Gasoline Additive a tank or two of gas before the oil change.

This time around I used M1 0W20 and Mobil 1 filter I purchased off Costco.
I have a relatively clean Wix air filter on the car. It looks like it is installed correctly. About 15k on the filter. I might look in to a OEM air filter.

Great engine, wear metal is very low for 10k OCI.

Great report. Toyota uses Silicone based sealers in their engines. It's not unusual at all for slightly elevated silicon readings. Silicon is additive - the longer the oil stays in the engine, the higher the reading will be.
