Hi,
I've deleted the dpf and done a egr delete, so the question is, can i use this oil?

The car is tuned, so i'm looking for optimal protection

Why not something like M1 0w-40? Being in Norway, you should be able to observe some benefit at cold startup with it.

But other than that, I don't see why not.

Does the engine consume any oil?

The mobil 1 0w40 is available at the local store, but i get the total rubia 8600 10w40 far cheaper!
But as you pointed out, it gets cold here during winter, so maybe the 10w40 is not worth the risk?

The engine barely consumes any oil.

I guess it would depend on where you live in Norway. That oil should be good down to -25C or lower.
If I deleted my DEF/DPF on my Dmax, I would use one of the many pre 2007 CI-4 or CH rated engine oils that have around 1.5% SA and 1500 ppm ZDDP.
Why not?

The Total Rubia 10w40 has much higher % of SA compared to the recomended oils for this engine, does that mean anything when you have removed the DPF and EGR?
