Are you driving the truck a lot more with diesel cheap?

While I enjoy cheaper fuel prices, I am concerned about the people put out of work..........

Paid $2.25 today in SW Ohio.
Prices in the north are below two bucks.
The forecast mid-summer slump in fuel prices is happening right now.

Hang on... gas is twice the price in California as it is in Texas?! I've never seen that much of a disparity. Wow.

Who lost work? We still use just as much fuel, right? So why do you think "people put out of work?"

I don't think anyone loses jobs for this.
Do more folks get jobs when the price goes up??

Lots of folks were laid off when oil prices plummeted up here.

Price per litre of gas though remains relatively high. There is never a shortage of excuses for high prices. I have a buddy who works at the refinery and has essentially been brainwashed by this superiors and tow the company line on justifying high prices.

Here it's $1.08/L which works out to $4.10 per gallon in Canadian dollars.

Premium gas is $4.78 per gallon.

Holy carp! Talk about gouging!

I was visiting family in Indiana yesterday and gas is almost always cheaper there so I normally wait until I get there to fill up -- but for the first time in a long time, I actually saved 10-cents/gallon by filling up before I left -- $2.49 at a Speedway in the west suburbs of Chicago vs. $2.59-$2.69 in Indiana.
