Hi Guys,

I'm replacing radiator on my parents car ... EX35 with VQ35HR engine.

As for bleeding ... I have Air Lift 2 ...

But this system is weird .. there is a Reservoir + a radiator CAP mounted on the block itself not on radiator ....

Do I place Air Lift in the Block ( Radiator Cap ) and pull vacuum there ?

Usually I will pull Vacuum from reservoir .. but this system is not pressurized ?

Should I clamp the hose to reservoir so vacuum can build up.

Thx

It's pressurized, but they likely put the cap on the block with a long neck so it's at it's highest point in the system, with a hose that goes to the unpressurized overflow/reservoir. Pull vacuum off the pressurized cap on the block I'd say.

I don't know the EX specifically, but there may also be a bleed screw on the upper heater hose near the firewall. My G and FX have those.

Thx guys... No screw on ex35
But I did vacuum via the metal neck ... Worked like a charm!

Thx guys
