Really?

It would be good to have a more descriptive SUBJECT.

Well it could be true. Does not mean they have to be NAPA brand filters, just that NAPA distributes them.

Distributor could also have implied "to the automotive trade" and that would exclude retail like Walmart being considered.

Yeah the way that is worded soumds more like they are referring to the jobber filters they sell shops to me.

Yeah, not surprising.

I bet they are including jobbers. Those Napa deliveries move a lot of filters to a lot of shops. I also wonder if NAPA also does not act as a distribution agency (under contract) for a lot of those quick-lube places. They might not beat Walmart for off-the-shelf sales but they are constantly moving inventory outside the restail shelves.

Not surprising.

There are NAPA stores in small towns were there are no major retailers.

In addition, the heavy duty filter market is not serviced by Walmart.

If you put enough qualifiers on it, most anyone can be the biggest and baddest in someway.

Every thread on BITOG can be titled "Really?"... ;-)
Being a "distributor" is different than a maker.
Fleet sales contracts, many NAPA outlets contribute.
