Bought Premium BP/Amoco 93 octane yesterday for $2.25 for the cycle.

Bought regular for the Tacoma today for $1.93

1918-2014 - adjusted for inflation, the average price of gasoline is $2.62:

Cheapest regular unleaded around here is $2.98. Other stations nearby $3.08 - 3.29 for regular. Those are cash prices; add .10 per gallon for credit card transactions.

Lowest around here is Costco at $2.99 for regular and $3.19 for 91. We don't have 93 in California. The price dropped about 35-40 cents the last 3-4 weeks.

This morning it was 2.15
It now is 2.29
It's odd that it jumps up alot but when it drops it does so only 1or 2 cents
It never drops real fast
The stations like to tease you and just when you think its going to get back under 2 bucks-boom it shoots back up
It drives me crazy I tell you

Last week in Joliet, IL, prices went from $2.49 to $2.89 over just 4 days...today it's back down to $2.77...I wonder why it jumped so much?

With crude priced where it is, we should be right around $2 for gas...there's been some gouging going on with these $3+ prices...
