Im sure there can be some compliance built into the weaves and wraps. We do that for high rotational speed designs that elongate radially as they spin up.

Id be more concerned with curb rash...

If they can get the price down that's neat, I wonder how they were made.

I know VW/Lambo has some CF stamping technology which supposedly drastically cuts the cost down.
