Thinning fluid film

Eureka recommends using small amounts of vegetable oil to thin for easier spraying. Last year I sprayed it straight, in 90+F weather after stirring and it was still a little too much for my HPLV sprayer. Has anybody thinned FF out before? What ratio vegetable oil did you mix in? Does it have any effect on the FF performance?

I use WD 40. It About 20 dollars gallon. I would be worried veggie oil might attract mice and could give a rancid smell eventually

I was told CarWell is thinner, maybe a better things to spray.

Mineral spirits? Paint thinner? I think I read of using that.

[I simply bought the sprayer kit and have been content with that. Never tried thinning it.]
