What's it called and where do I buy one?

I have a small 5' x 7' tilt-bed trailer that I transport my mower and ATV with, anyhow the "mechanism" that is located on the tongue of the trailer that actually locks around the tow ball on my truck is FUBAR.

1. What is the proper name for the locking mechanism?

2. Where can I purchase one? (A proper answer to Question No. 1, will allow me to answer Question No. 2 on my own.)

Harbor Freight carries them if you have a Hf in your area... or Tractor Supply... maybe even an auto parts chain. Of course Amazon will have them.

I recently had a local shop cut mine off and weld a new one on. Cost $40 part and labor

I don't actually need the entire coupler, i.e., the housing; I just need the "guts".
