OEM filter starting 01-DEC-88 is #86546614 (Non-emission engines)
OEM filter starting 12-MAY-98 is #87800068 (Emissionized engines)

#86546614 is XG8A size
#87800068 is XG16 size

Okay but this just opens up another can of worms. Does the larger filter (XG8A) fit on the newer engines (with emissions stuff)?

I would presume that it does fit, assuming that the OP's tractor is newer, as the Napa 1452 is the XG8A size.

But to make sure, I will ask: Is the OP's tractor new, or old? (Which filter is its OEM?)

But, there's no reason not to run the XG8A over the XG16 if the larger filter fits. But, going by the looks of this thread so far, I doubt he'll use a Fram anyway.
