My avalanche started throwing a cel. Sometimes it goes off, but whenever its on it throws 4 codes at once.

P0101
p0120
p0220
p1516

I'm thinking this is the tps or a tac problem. Anyone with experience with these codes?

Thanks

I just found this in my fuse box under the hood. not good.
The rear door locks on my truck won't lock with the controls i have been having to lock them manually, they unlock when you shift into park.

I found 1 wire that has been chewed, its yellow and goes down under the fuse box to a connector in the bottom wrapped with yellow tape. The wire is pale yellow. I have no idea what it goes to, there are so many going into the wiring bundle.

This wire goes into a connector under the box here.

It appears that the throttle body has the tac and tps incorporated into it. So its replace the throttle body ?

Thanks! I found that wire, it is tight and clean with no evidence of chewing.
I'm thinking that i have to replace the throttle body, since the codes appear in a group of 4.

Got to quit messing with it for now, time to get ready for supper with the inlaws!!

Huh? Fix the wiring problem. Why are considering changing parts when the wiring is at fault. Does the wiring comes with the new throttle body? If not, how in the world your problem would be solved by new throttle body?

I'm going to solder and shrink wrap that wire and see. I had a mouse problem 4 years ago in my outdoor shed where the truck and camper sit. Thats about the time the rear doorlocks quit working. There have been no mice out there since so this nest i found is 4 years old. I'm thinking the wire issue may be the rear door locks and not the above codes.
But it does make sense to fix it first and see.

Thanks

I spliced in a section of wire, soldered and shrink wrapped it. It did not fix the rear door locks so perhaps it was the cause of the throttle body codes. Code was intermittent so i will have to drive and see if it returns.

GM electronics were not that great of this time frame, it might not be a wiring problem, just bad actuators. Have you ever had to change any of the switches? My moms Buick had the switch break and we got one from eBay, now the rear windows don't work.

Well the p0101 code keeps popping back up. If i drive easy it stays off but if i step on it and rev around 4k rpm it sometimes lights back up. I'm guessing the maf is not heating properly, so i ordered another one. Hoping a new Delphi maf will take care of the problem.

I had a mouse problem about 4 years ago. I don't have mice now, as I have outside cats, and a bait box I keep under the travel trailer.
